Networking for Responsible Businesses

Double Whammy Networking for Responsible Businesses, monthly via Zoom. Businesses of all sizes and sectors from across the UK are invited to join our Double Whammy Networking events.

If you’re committed to responsible business (or want to learn more), come along and experience the power of ORB’s warm community. Connect, share, and discover how learning from each other leads to a sense of well-being, success and renewed motivation for a better way of doing business.

We meet at 11 a.m. on the fourth Thursday of each month, with additional member-led workshops held throughout the year, so keep an eye out for those!

Booking opens two to three weeks before each event. Want to stay updated? Sign up for our monthly e-newsletter, and we’ll make sure you never miss an opportunity.

There is a small fee for non-members, while members attend for free. We also welcome optional charitable donations from all attendees. We understand that financial challenges persist for many businesses, so please only contribute if you’re able. Your generosity is appreciated but never expected. Your donation details will always remain confidential.

Each event includes a live charity draw where one lucky attendee gets to nominate a local charity to receive that month’s donations.

Expect to be welcomed into a 15-minute breakout room, where you’ll connect with small groups of four or five like-minded business owners. Plus, we always feature a short, insightful presentation.

About Double Whammy Networking

Launched in Southend-on-Sea, Essex, in 2013, Double Whammy Networking began as an in-person event, raising nearly £12,000 for local charities through ticket sales. Operated via our sister company, BSTLC CIC (Businesses Supporting Their Local Communities), we’ve always been committed to making a difference.

In response to the pandemic, we transitioned to online events via Zoom, allowing us to reach a much wider business community across the UK. Given the success of this format, we’ll continue to host our events online for the foreseeable future.

We’re also proud to use Ticket Tailor, a UK-based ticketing platform and a much-valued ORB member. Despite the challenges of the pandemic, which saw their income nearly wiped out, Ticket Tailor stepped up by offering free online event hosting and has since emerged stronger than ever.
