The MINDFUL EMPLOYER initiative originated in the South West Region and is administered by WorkWAYS in Devon. It aims to offer information, advice and support to employers in the public, private and third sectors and invites employers to sign up to an inspirational charter and work towards the aims of it through recruitment and retention.

TAKING A WALK DOWN GREEN STREET COULD SAVE YOU MONEY

A new web based tool called eco street has been launched by sustainability experts Envirowise to help businesses identify typical resource efficiency hot spots and provide tailored advice on taking action.

Courtauld Commitment Phase 2

The Courtauld Commitment, launched in 2005, is a voluntary agreement between WRAP (Waste & Resources Action Programme) and major grocery retailers and brand owners. Today, the Courtauld Commitment Phase 2 has been launched, moving away from solely weight-based targets and aims to achieve more sustainable use of resources over the entire lifecycle of products, throughout the whole supply chain.
