UP TO 75% OFF ELECTRIC VEHICLE CHARGING POINTS FOR COMPANIES IN THE EAST OF ENGLAND
With energy and fuel prices continuing to rise significantly and putting extra strain on company resources, there is an increasing desire from organisations to reduce these costs in their business. For companies seeking to save money on their fuel and fleet costs and improve their impact on the environment, a new grant scheme is available in the East of England.
EValu8 Transport Innovations Ltd is a not-for-profit organisation leading the Government-supported ‘Plugged-in Places’ project in the East of England which is installing charging points for electric vehicles (EVs) across the region. EValu8 are working with over one hundred stakeholders, including local authorities and private sector companies, to build a network of 1,200 recharging points across the East of England.
The key offer to organisations through the EValu8 project includes:
Grants of up to 75% for ‘small and medium sized enterprises’ wishing to install EV charging points, with grants of up to 50% available to other organisations;
Grants of up to 75% for all local authorities in the East of England to cover the costs of providing public or workplace EV charging points;
Grants of up to 75% on home charge units and 50% grants for eco-build housing projects.
Free electricity from renewable sources through Ecotricity sponsorship of the Source East network
Benefits associated with becoming a post host includes running cost savings on fleet, environmental and CSR credit for the company, marketing opportunities for your organisation and attracting staff and customers who have chosen to exploit EV technology.
