Small businesses now have access to the help they need to support an employee when they experience ill health at work - helping them to maintain the services of that individual. This is fundamental to business success.
The Department for Work and Pensions has announced that from 1 April all small businesses in England will be able to access free occupational health advice and support on 0800 077 8844. The helpline is open 9am until 5pm on weekdays, excluding national bank holidays. There is also a callback service for out of hours enquiries.
